So much going on

Tomorrow is the beginning of school for me. I'm really excited to start, but I'm also very nervous at the same time. I'm worried that in a lot of ways, I'm setting myself up. Between school, church callings, preschool co-op, training for the 10k, and just normal day-to-day responsibilities, I'm worried that I've put too much on my plate. My biggest concern is just forgetting to fulfill an obligation to someone else. I have already done the introductory assignments for pathways, so if I can stay ahead of schedule I should be OK. I have noticed, that when I do plan lots of activities, and just generally have busy days planned, the easier it is to get stuff done. I think part of that is because I simply don't have time to get in a lazy mindset.

My training for the 10K is going really well. I can feel myself getting stronger. I've had a couple people comment, telling me it looks like I've lost weight. So that's exciting. I'm still waiting to see results. I've learned to really enjoy waking up early to go for a run. I noticed I HATE running in the evenings. Too many people out and about, still too hot outside,  and it means I have to shower twice a day.

James and I are participating in a preschool co-op. It's with four other moms, all of which are in the other ward that meets in our building. We've had two weeks so far, and James absolutely loves it. I'm just glad I only have to teach every five weeks. I am so not into coming up with crafts and activities to do. I think this is also good for James because we are dipping our toes into homeschooling a bit. Nearly every time we drive by a school, James asks to go there and play in the playground. And when I explain to him that we may homeschool, he gets really bummed. So I think this is a good opportunity for him to see that homeschool can still be fun.

That's pretty much it for our family right now. We leave on Friday for Virginia, so if you're on Instagram, I apologize for the overdose of pictures.
