Denver

Things are going really well here in Colorado. We've settled in to our temporary lodging at Buckley Air Force Base, and are still looking around for a house to move into. We think we may have found one, but there is a less expensive one nearby that we want to look at.

Ben has started going to work each day. He is doing and in process checklist. He has learned a little bit more about his job. It will require some training at Wright-Patterson in Ohio, but that's not until July. And this new job will require frequent, but short, trips to differnt places. He could also be deployed in this job, but that's not going to be for a while. It has also been interesting to meet people at church who work at the base. None of them can say anything about what they do in their job, but they nodded knowingly when Ben tells them what squadron he is going to work in, and say "you'll find out about it soon enough".

To pass the time, James and I went to the downtown aquarium. He loved it! Of course there were several private schools doing field trips that day, but it wasn't overly crowded.

I'm writing this post via my phone, or else I would insert the video of the tiger getting right up to the glass in front of James. It was pretty awesome.
