I have a calling in our new ward. I'm the 2nd counselor in the YW presidency. I'm so excited for this calling. I already know and love the president. It's a little bit of a crazy time for everyone. The president is being induced on Tuesday, the current 2nd counselor is going on a cruise AND moving in a couple of weeks, and Ben is leaving this weekend for a 3 week training in Ohio. I was going to stay in the mountains with family, but I don't want to miss the first Sunday and mutual night as a counselor, especially because I feel like they will need the help to hold things together while the president is away. I'm getting dumped in the deep end with this calling, but what better way to learn right?
