Yikes! Pretty sure I did an Epic Phail on my math exam today. Whatever. I overheard one of the girls in my class saying she figured that if you did 90% of the homework and got a 75% on the final you could still manage a C in the class even you completely fail both midterm exams. I'm counting today's exam as one of my failed exams.
Haven't started the sewing project yet. I did go out with mom and buy the fabric and thread for it though, as motivation for me to actually begin working with the sewing machine.
Last night I babysat for Heather while we attended community band. Brennan said the funniest thing to me. Here is the conversation to the best of my remembrance:
Brennan: "Auntie Dedn, what day are you getting married?"
I chuckle to myself as if to say "find me a guy."
Devon: "I don't know Brennan, when I find someone to marry."
Brennan: "But... I just want you to marry my friend Max." (Max is 4 years old, I don't want to be a pedophile).
Devon: "Well Brennan, auntie Devon wants to get married to a grown up. She wants to marry a grown up like her, and Max isn't a a grown up yet."
Brennan: "Well.... you could marry Wyatt's daddy."
Devon: "Wyatt's dad is definitely already married."
Brennan: "Is that why he lives with Wyatt's mommy?"
Devon: "Yep. You know Brennan, I think I will wait and marry someone who isn't married yet and is a grown up."
Oh, how I love the things that come out of this boys mouth! And Asher attempted to say a few things to me last night as well. Just the usual "wat" for "what," but at least you was trying to talk to me at all instead of just staring at me.
That conversation was Hi-LAR-ious.
ReplyDeleteI guess Asher could always be your back-up man...since he likes you now and all.
Sorry to hear about the test. Math that you don't understand is like the worst kind of torture. I'm sure that math class will be involved in hell for me if I go there. For some of us, that's as bad as it gets. :-)
