As Ben and I get ready to move, one thing that has been on my mind is continuing my education. I've completed two years at LBCC/OSU, and I would like to finish. I've looked into the BYU General Studies degree, but I don't fit the eligibility requirements. I have never attended BYU. The program is specific to those who have previously attended BYU.
So now I'm looking for something else. Ideally, I'm looking for an online program. I think BYU Independent Study is slightly different, and I'm looking into that to see if my OSU credits will transfer and what kind I program I want to do.
Why don't you do Oregon State online? That's what I'm going to do this fall. Costs is the same whether you are and Oregon resident or not.
ReplyDeleteAlso, Linfield served me well, if you recall :-) Linfield is a private college I think, so it's prices are pretty decent. It was half the cost as University of Phoenix! I took some of the generals at Chemeketa as well (again, online) because as you know, that was even cheaper than Linfield. So if you still have any courses you can take through a community college, I'd look into that. Lastly... I suppose it depends on the major/program. What are you looking to study?
