Share the Message!

I've added a new button to the right side. While studying in the library I saw the Elders in our ward using the computers. They were there to update their Mormon.org profiles and answer questions that may have been posted by nonmembers. They asked me if I had set up my profile on Mormon.org, and I had to admit that I had started, but not finished. So I got right to it and and submitted my profile. It will be reviewed in a few days for doctrinal correctness, and then I can link it to Facebook and my blog.

I know the importance of sharing the Gospel through the Internet. New travels fast through Facebook and other sites. All those videos and articles we post. We have the ability to share a wonderful message with others. While in Ukraine I was told there were people who knew about the church through online sources and were patiently waiting for missionaries to come back to the area, because currently it is not safe for missionaries to be in the city.

My thought before was that if they don't find my profile, they will find the profile of someone else. True, but just think of how much joy we will feel when we meet that person and they can share how our Mormon.org profile brought them to the gospel. We can help prepare them to hear the message through missionaries.

I encourage you, if you have not already, to create your profile on Mormon.org. It will be worth the 10-20 minutes.
