Church Callings

Ben called me this morning to say that a counselor in the bishopric had asked him to serve in not one calling, but TWO! Assistant Scout Master and second counselor in the Young Men's. Ben loves to work with the Scouts and in YM's, so he's really excited about these two callings.

So our Tuesday nights might get a little crazy. Me in YW, and Ben in YM's. Poor James, not exactly sure what we will do with him right now. The counselor that talked to Ben said the bishopric is aware of the conflict with bedtime, and that Ben and I could alternate staying home, or they would watch James at church if both of us needed to attend our mutual activities. 

Let's see, what is else is going on here? We are 2-2 for James getting sick while Ben is away from home. James had a bit of a rough night, and I went in there at midnight with some cough medicine. Luckily, he slept in till 10am this morning. Still, we are staying home from church today because he's still not feeling good and was crying during breakfast about how much it hurt to eat. Other than this bout of sickness, we're doing really well.
