I used to be so consistent with blogging. I have really lost the ball on this area of life. Sorry.

We're doing really good. I'm still trying to find my groove again since coming back from Oregon. I didn't know how long 3 weeks really was until I came back and realized so much happened while I was away.

Things we've done since getting back:

  • The Enid Symphony put on a concert just for kids. They played songs from Loony Tunes, Tonto and the Lone Ranger, and Spring from Vivaldi's Four Seasons. James did great until the very end. I had never been to the Enid Symphony, but it is gorgeous in that little concert hall.
  • The library put on an Ebook Pajaminals Party. We dressed James in his pajama's, and brought along his doggie stuffed animal. The librarians read ebooks to the kids, and the animals slept overnight at the library. The next morning we picked up doggie, and was shown pictures of all the trouble he got into overnight while the library was closed. Apparently, the animals was sneaky food and taking bum photos on the copy machine. Naughty doggie!
  • The library also got a pet pig. So random, but James loves it. This pig is potty box trained, and only gets up to 30 lbs. James loves to pet little Olivia.
  • Assignment Nights have gotten much better. They are now themed, and the class is more involved in decorating and making the night as detailed as they want. The last one was pirate themed (it happened to fall on Talk Like a Pirate Day), and all the grads were dressed up. James loves this evening so much. Ben, not so much anymore. He told that this last one was his last. Understandable.
I'm looking forward to the fall weather to come around. There has been a few days that were noticeably cooler, and that was a welcome treat. It's around the mid-high 80's this week, with a few thunderstorms here and there.
