Well, its official! We finally got our orders from the Air Force for our move to Vance Air Force Base in Enid Oklahoma. It's about time! We always knew it would be sometime in January but we didn't exactly know when. We can leave no sooner than January 2nd, but we must arrive at Vance by January 7th. So we have a 5 day travel window. First up on our list, scheduling a meeting with the transportation management office at Lewis McChord. But the only problem is, is that we have to drive up to the base to schedule a meeting. Then we must drive up again at a later time for the actual meeting. It's driving me nuts! But it's okay because my friend hilary lives in Seattle, so we can visit her while we're in the area, and Denise can watch James so we don't have to bring him with us. I'll have more details after we sit with a real person, but that's a start.

ReplyDeleteIF you drive, and IF you end up spending the night in Utah, I still HIGHLY recommend Hill Aerospace Museum (just north of SLC). We loved it and I bet James and Ben would as well.
