Devonotional

This is NOT turning into a cooking blog! I just got into a frenzy last night and decided to cook a huge pound cake, and because I did not have a bunt pan to fit all the dough in, it turned into a pound cake loaf and round cake. I also made honey caramel dipping sauce. This picture was taken left-handed with my phone so it's a little shaky. I think it turned out pretty well.

Ben has begun his search for a motorcycle. He and our institute director looked at one yesterday, but it's not what he's looking for. Our institute director is an "expert" in motorcycles. He's had about 20 in his lifetime, and he currently owns at least 2 from what I've seen. Ben and I are pretty excited because he's riding his bike to.....

Study Arabic in San Diego this summer! The military has this program called Project GO! It's like a linguistics study abroad, and while he's not getting sent to Russia, which is what he really wanted, Ben's excited to head back to his mission play area. He'll be gone for about 5 weeks this summer. I'll probably go down and visit people with him and then head back to Oregon for school.

We have our church callings. I'm the Relief Society Assistant Secretary, and Benjamin is the Sunday School President. I'm pretty much only in charge of the weekly email that goes out to the sisters, while Ben has to have a lesson ready each week even if he doesn't need to give it. We're pretty excited about our callings.
