It's been a while since I did an update on the happenings in my life.

About two weeks ago, Dar and I were watching a scary movie during the day. We closed all the blinds so the room would be dark. During one of the most suspenseful parts of the movie, we suddenly see this dark thing fall past our living room window. People in the apartment start running around. Dar and I ran to peek through the blinds and there is a kid on the ground. Our neighbors two-year-old fell from the upstairs window! The dad ran down to get his son, and later that day we saw the whole family outside playing. We assume the kid is alright. the timing of the movie and him falling was hilarious though, I wanted to laugh so hard.

Two nights ago I went for a bike ride with my friend and neighbor Matt. We were peddling up a huge hill and I could tell I was drifting to the left. Once my front tire hit the grass it was all over. My bike completely fell over. My right leg is fine, which is the side I fell on. My left leg on the other hand, is not. I bruised the ligaments over my knee cap, which means that bending my knee yesterday was nearly impossible. I'm doing a lot better now, almost completely healed.

My trip is in one month! I'm starting to get really nervous, but super excited to leave. We went over the language and customs at the last meeting, and I think that's what I'm most nervous about. How am I supposed to learn Russian? I'll be fine though. I can't wait to fly out.

I found an old Kodak camera from back in middle school. It still had some pictures left on it, so I've been trying to use it up. Last night I had Brennan take pictures during a Corvallis Knights baseball game. We'll see if the pictures come back alright, or if they are all gray and fuzzy from the camera being out of commission for so long.
