See, I CAN Follow Instruction Manuals!

My Internet from Qwest finally arrived! Darlayne and I had a fun time untangling all the cords and reading the manual. Every time a light went from red to green we had a little shout for joy. Internet installation was not without mishaps though, and I am still having a hard time removing the Internet cord from my computer. It might be stuck there forever. But at least I no longer have to borrow spotty Internet from our neighbors upstairs.

I've had a lot of blog reading to catch up on. Because of my lack of Internet, I've been setting aside all the blog posts I want to read later. And then I ignored my Google Reader for two days and had 131 posts to read. Yikes.

What else is new? I figured out a tentative schedule of my classes for fall term. All 16 credits, and all $1032 I will need to pay, excluding books. It's going to be a fun summer saving up money for the Ukraine and school. I can drop a few classes, I just wanted to see what kind of schedule I could come up with. Spanish, Macro Econ, Intro to Business, Psych and a Pilates class. I must have hit myself on the head pretty hard to consider taking all these classes in the same term. But like I said, I can drop some classes.

I did Relay for Life last week. I thought it was going to be similar to the Pear Blossom where you run and try to get a good time, I was wrong. It's literally walking around a track for an hour. No one counts laps, you just walk for your entire time block. But I had lots of fun, even if it was 3 in the morning.

Then this morning at sat at a checkpoint for a Portland to Eugene relay. I sat just outside of Peoria at the second or third last checkpoint. Man, was it cold! I've decided that I'm going to sign up for some 5K's during the summer. Even if I don't run on a consistent basis, I know I can at least do a 5k. I did the Pear Blossom when I hadn't been running in months and still managed to get a decent time. Here is the website to Epic Relays. This one looks intense, or should I say, epic? It's a 12 person relay and it looks super fun. The website includes training schedules for both their Portland to Eugene Relay and the Teton Utah to Wyoming Relay. I've also bookmarked a ton of other local races to register for. Sisters, let me know if you want to run some with me!

I love this new apartment, but I'm noticing it feels very humid. Anyone know good ways to reduce the moisture inside?
