I've had no interest to write anything lately. Not because I've been too busy, but because there has been a lack of interesting things going on in my life right now. Plus I feel that I should not let a blog replace a real journal, and I haven't written in mine in a very long time.
Just an hour ago I taught a lesson on prayer with the sister missionaries. I love teaching with them. It's interesting to watch someone go threw the testimony building process from the beginning. I know this girl feels that the church is true. She hasn't missed a single appointment. If she felt it were complete crap she would have given up a long time ago, but she sticks around to learn more. She has a hard time recognizing that. We've asked her to pray. I hope she takes that big step. I think she feels nervous. "What is nothing happens?" etc.... eventually it will happen.
It's scary to put your faith on the line like that. I think it's really wonderful that you can go out with the Sister Missionaries and experience some of that missionary work. Our Sisters just asked us to pray for some of their investigators by name. They gave us a list and we include them in our family prayer. It felt rather strange at first, but it feels good, too.
