I need some help with this design addiction of mine. I found ANOTHER site that I like, this one for cute stationary, which personally I think you can never have too much of. Mateo Ilasco has some of the best organizational tools I've seen. And they also have a Blog you can follow. I am a huge fan of planners, so I am constantly on the lookout for functional, yet decorative schedule books. Just because I want it to be practical doesn't mean I am willing to sacrifice design.
Kelly, good idea with the Google Reader. So much easier than going to each blog individually. Now I can delete all those bookmarks!
I don't know about you guys, but Jill (my roommate) and I love to have a candle burning. Mostly because our apartment smells gross and old without it, but I love the look and smell of a burning candle. Uncle Matt give me this candle in the lemon grass scent and I love it so much. I haven;t brought myself to actually burn it, saving it for a better occasion. That's the one problem with candles, they don't last very long and once they are gone you have to buy more.
I realized there need to be more pictures on my blog. Last year my resolution was to take more pictures, and I think I did a fairly good job with that. This year has started off badly. I've taken one picture all month. Next time I bake some delicious or do something crafty I'll take a picture of it for you guys to see.
In addition to google reader, I'm also organizing my bookmarks using delicious. You bookmark something through delicious and you can give it tags - as many as you want. Later, you can search for sites using your tags. I find it really helpful because I can tag recipes and then later search for them under chicken, crockpot, or maindish, etc (any tags I choose to give it) and I will see everything that has the tag I selected. The OTHER cool thing about delicious is that all your bookmarks are stored on the server, so you can access your delicious account from ANYWHERE you have internet. So sweet! Life is just so amazingly simple these days.
ReplyDeleteAs I read your post I couldn't help thinking that you need to see these two sites:
http://thekrazycouponlady.com/2010/01/stock-up-time-yankee-candles.html for cheap candles.
And also, that you better start following the Lazy Organizer if you want to read her cool organizing strategies. http://www.lazyorganizer.com/blog/
On the left you can scrolls down to her topics and check out the ones you're most interested in (office and schedule, organizing lists, organizing thoughts, etc).
