What a Weekend

My weekend with Brennan was.... interesting. Heather and her family met me at LBCC to drop off Brennan. He and I hit the road for Jenny's and made good time. He was so excited to see his cousins. Brennan was absolutely obessed with his cousin Johns transformer toys.

We tried to have all three boys sleep in the same room. Brennan wanted to sleep with John, but he also wanted to sleep on the top bunk, which happened to be Justins. So all three boys went on the top. Not five minutes later Brennan is peeking his head out of the bedroom door telling me that his cousins are too loud and that he couldn't see anything. So after a couple minutes of trying to get him back into the bedroom, I finally decided he could sleep in my room. I thought a queen sized bed would be room enough for the both of us, it wasn't. Brennan slept in the middle and was constantly bumping into me, I don't think either of us got much sleep both nights.

On Saturday we took all the kids to a friends house to go fishing. So many fish! We caught one with almost every cast. All the kids had a blast. They could either fish or go play in the nearby play structure.



Conference on Sunday was a little hectic. It was hard to keep the kids quiet so that the adults could hear the speakers. I decided it was time to go home after the morning session. Brennan was a little moody because of lack of sleep and I just wanted to get home to my own things. But overall, I had a wonderful time. Jenny is always a good host, and I'm glad she put up with me and Brennan.
